Anapnea is an open Gentoo Linux shell server, offering accounts to all in need/seeking experience. We run our own server and all personnel get 50MB quota, webspace, email, irssi, screen, bash, a complete development environment (ruby/php/python/perl), all the programs, editors, clients and games you could ask for, all optimized and updated daily to their latest versions, and the rest, including knowledgable peers for support. Our community is composed of programmers, artists, designers, writers, geeks, photographers and the like.

Anapnea aims to create a community with a spirit of productivity, capability and freedom, and to give you a breath of fresh air.

We're friendly but we do not tolerate rule-breaking, and we do hold grudges. We're free but not everyone gets membership. We're for the greater good, not for exploitation.
